A Lasting Legacy Bible Study

People often ponder what they’ll accomplish in the future. Yet sometimes it’s good to ask: When I pass away, what story will be told? Will I be remembered for wisdom and mercy—or manipulation and self-centeredness? Will I leave a lasting legacy—or will my endeavors fade like the morning fog?

As you contemplate stepping into eternity, you’ll think about what’s truly important. No one ever plans to waste his or her life, but it’ll happen if you fail to set priorities.

So consider: What will you leave behind for those you love? Will your life testify to the eternal love of God—or the temporary things of this world? Your story is still being told, so choose wisely.

Lord God, I want to leave a lasting legacy of love for you. Please direct my steps so that you’ll always be glorified in my life. AMEN.
