God's Eternal, Preserving, and Renewing LoveGod’s Eternal, Preserving, and Renewing Love / Lesson #1 God’s Eternal, Preserving, and Renewing Love / Lesson #2 God’s Eternal, Preserving, and Renewing Love / Lesson #3 God’s Eternal, Preserving, and Renewing Love / Lesson #4
Those who abide in God’s love and are always seeking to express God’s love to others are those who, in turn, will experience even more of God’s love in their lives. This does not mean that God loves them more; God’s love is infinite and eternal at all times. Rather, it means that those who seek to abide in love and who are expressing love experience God’s love in their own lives in increasingly profound, meaningful, and joyful ways. Paul wrote about this to the Ephesians: I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ … that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph. 3:14, 17–19) If you truly desire to feel more of God’s love and to grow in your love relationship with God, receive God’s love by faith, choose to abide in God’s love daily, and seek always as many ways as possible to show God’s love to others. What you give of God’s love will be what you receive back—in multiplied form! Charles F.
