Lesson #1: Why So Much Suffering? Lesson #2: How Can God Use Me When Others Suffer? Lesson #3: Why Am I Suffering? Lesson #4: God’s Answer to Suffering Lesson #5: Does God Get My Suffering Lesson #6: Comforting One Another In Suffering Lesson #7: How Can I Honor God in My Suffering? Sometimes life gets hard, and we feel overwhelmed. We cry or get angry or stressed. No matter how hard we try, we can’t seem to relax. But God says we can feel joy to the point of singing, right in the middle of the worst trouble, because He is there to help. And with God helping us, we can always know it’s going to be okay. Next time we’re worried about a test, we can study and prepare, and then our spirits can sing. He will help us do our best. And if we fail, maybe He’ll use that failure to get us even more help. Next time we’re upset about the way a friend is treating us, we can continue to treat them with love and sing in our hearts. God is there, and He will help us. He’ll either work in that person’s heart to change their attitude, or He’ll send us another friend, or He’ll move in some other way to protect us. Even when things are stressful at home, we can trust God and sing. He is always working to bring about good things in our lives, as long as we rely on Him. If everything always went the way we wanted, we wouldn’t need His assistance. Life will have trouble and hardships, but God is always there to help us.
